Designed by architects Frank Weary and George Kramer, the courthouse is constructed of brick and stone, with marble floors and wainscoting and a four-faced clock tower that rises above the building. On the lawn outside the courthouse, an 1889 Civil War monument was erected using a column from an older courthouse. The Pickaway County Courthouse remains active today, housing the Pickaway County Court of Common Pleas.
